Race Compendium – Common
These are the most commonfolk of the realm.
Elven
Slender and tall, elves are the most common race and there are plenty of elven sub-races.
City Elf
A most common and domesticated elf that is usually found living in the suburbs.
Dark Elf
These elves are usually found living and exploring the great underground depths
High Elf
An elf that wields both powerful arcane magic and a superiority complex
Snow Elf
Pale skinned elves usually at home in the colder parts of the world due to their naturally high cold resistance
Wood Elf
These elves make their home in with nature, usually able to communicate with animals. Excellent at using a bow
Demi
These races might be small but they are far from insignificant
Dwarf
Small and stocky. Usually found underground. Fondness of beards and axes.
Faun
A goat-like manifestation of nature and the forest.
Gnome
Small creatures with a high intelligence and fondness of steampunk engineering.
Halfling
Bigger than Gnomes but smaller than Dwarves. They make excellent thieves.
Leprechaun
A very flamboyant cousin of the Dwarf with an obsession with gold and treasure
Beast
The most common beast-like creatures of the world
Arachne
A spider like hybrid race. Most can be friendly, however they have an reputation of being terrifying.
Centaur
Half horse and half something else. They can move very fast.
Felidae
Cat-like creatures. Nimble and agile. They always land on their feet.
Lizardkin
The reptile folk. Scaly and often hissing when they talk. Can breathe underwater.
Warg
A very large and vicious wild wolf creature with high intelligence. Excellent hunters.
Goblinoid
A group of cave dwelling troglodytes that live and attack in groups.
Goblin
Small green-skinned and dim-witted enemies that love attacking lonesome travellers for treasure
Hobgoblin
Slightly larger than goblins, these creatures are more into causing mischief and practical jokes then actually harming anyone outright.
Kobold
A dog-like goblin race, skilled with building traps and preparing ambushes.
Orc
Tall, strong and barbaric. Generally they live to battle.
Redcap
An elite murderous type of goblin that wear red hats and stone footwear.
Race Compendium – Cryptid Archived
These are the mysterious cryptid races of the realm.
Cryptids
These are generally hidden or mysterious races
Bugbear
A goblin with the head of bear that likes to frighten children.
Monopod
These mythological creatures have a single, large foot extending from a leg centred in the middle of their bodies. Strangely enough, this isn’t the creature that has the nickname of ‘Bigfoot’
Sasquatch
A simian like creature that is usually described as a large, hairy, bipedal creature.
Wendigo
The wendigo may appear as a monster with some characteristics of other races, or as a spirit who has possessed a living thing and made them become monstrous. It is associated with cannibalism.
Yeti
This is an ape-like creature that normally dwells in cold and icy environments.
Vision
A creature or race associated with eyes or vision.
Argus Orb
This is a floating orb of flesh with a large mouth, single central eye, and many smaller eyestalks on top with powerful magical abilities. Sometimes also called a Watcher, but never a Beholder, we don’t want to get sued or anything.
Basilisk
A legendary reptile reputed to be King of serpents and said to have the power to cause death with a single glance
Gorgon
A female creature with a serpents tail and snakes for hair. A glance from this creature can turn anyone into stone.
Seeker
A big, floating eye, connected to a mouth with sharp teeth through a thick, red membrane.
Wight
A tall slender race with no eyes or eye sockets.
Canine
Dog related group of races.
Cerburus
A giant three headed guard dog.
Cynocephalus
A secretive race that have the head of a dog.
Garm
A hell-hound made from fire. Loyal and obedient, just be careful stroking it if you don’t want to get burnt.
Moddey Dhoo
A strange and mysterious black dog that is said to appear at times of great tragedy.
Orthrus
A small two headed dog. They are constantly barking at each other.
Critters
Last but not least, the smaller critters of the world.
Chupacabra
A reptile-like creature, said to have leathery or scaly greenish-gray skin and sharp spines or quills running down its back.
Kitsune
A fox with high intelligence and possesses magical abilities that increase with their age and wisdom
Peryton
It has the head, neck, forelegs and antlers of a stag, combined with the plumage, wings and hindquarters of a large bird.
Vegetable Lamb
A strange sentient lamb made out of leaves and foliage.
Wolpertinger
It has the head of a rabbit, the body of a squirrel, the antlers of a deer, and the wings and the legs of a pheasant.

These are the elementals based races of the realm.
Air
This collection of races are ones with an infinity to the air element
Faerie
Tall winged-elf like creatures that dwell in natural habitats like the forest.
Harpy
A winged bird hybrid creature with the personality of a bird.
Pixie
Like a faerie but much, much smaller. Sometimes confused with a faerie.
Siren
A winged bird hybrid creature. They eat meat and lure their victims with temptation and mind control.
Sprite
A faerie and goblin half breed. Usually shunned from society from both lineages.
Earth
This collection of races are ones with an infinity to the earth element
Dryad
A tree spirit and the protector of nature
Nymph
A personifications of the creative and fostering activities of nature, most often identified with the life-giving outflow of springs
Spriggan
A magical plant like creature that usually becomes hostile towards outsiders trespassing on their land.
Treant
Sometimes just referred to as ‘Ents’, these are wise sentient trees with a face in the trunk.
Troll
Large creatures that like to live under bridges, sometimes known to post inflammatory comments on the internet
Water
This collection of races are ones with an infinity to the water element
Hydra
A water serpent with many heads.
Kappa
A small imp that likes to lure small children into rivers and drown them.
Kraken
A giant squid-like monster that loves to destroy ships
Merfolk
Mermaids and Mermen are hybrid creatures with fish fins and a tail instead of legs or feet
Water Salamander
Normally a fire breathing lizard, these underwater variants blow warm bubbles at their enemies instead.
Artificial
This is a collection of races that were artificially created.
Automaton
A type of golem that has been created using metal and lightning. Best to think of it like a steampunk robot
Gargoyle
A group of sentient flying stone statues, it is believed they were brought to life by means of magic.
Golem
A lump of clay or mud that has been brought to life and will do whatever that it is commanded to do.
Homunculus
A creature created by the most talented of alchemists.
Mutant
A mix of body parts or hybrids conjoined together with special abilities.
Race Compendium – Mystical
These are the mystical and legendary races of the realm.
Large
Only the largest of large can join this group.
Cyclops
A one eyed giant that uses giant clubs as weapons. Poor depth perception.
Giant
A regular and common gigantic race that can be seen from miles away.
Minotaur
A giant race with the head of a bull that dwells and roams around in labyrinths.
Ogre
Slightly smaller than the others in this group, but still very threatening, these creatures like to dwell in swamps.
Titan
These are the tallest of the gigantic creatures, seem to be made of metal and are said to be indestructible. Luckily they are so rarely seen they are considered to be a myth, rather than a real creature.
Magical
Anything created with or associated with arcane magic. Sometimes used by Wizards.
Djinn
A genie that can grant wishes, sometimes benevolent and other times tricksters.
Doppelganger
A creature that can turn into anyone. Little is known of their actual original appearance, if they have one, as they are constantly polymorphing.
Imp
A small race creature that often likes to help wizards with their spells and with small house chores
Mimic
Similiar to the doppelganger, however the Mimic will only turn into objects. They seem to be fond of appearing to look like treasure chests so they can bite and any unsuspecting adventurer.
Slime
A blob of gooey oozing slime that seems to be slightly sentient. Attacks by covering the enemies bodies and quickly dissolving them.
Hybrids
Creatures and races that are mixed together with others.
Chimera
A fire breathing monster with the head and body of a lion, a tail that ends with a snakes head and a goat’s head sticking out from its body.
Cockatrice
A mythical two legged dragon with the head of a rooster
Gnoll
The offspring between a gnome and a troll. Not many exist in this world.
Griffin
This creature has the body, tail, and back legs of a lion; the head and wings of an eagle; and an eagle’s talons as its front feet.
Manticore
It has the body of a lion, another creature’s head with three rows of sharp shark teeth, and bat-like wings.
Serpents
You have finally found the dragon section of this.
Dragon
A legendary creature typically scaled or fire-spewing and with serpentine, reptilian or avian traits and have powerful magical abilities.
Drake
Drakes are smaller than dragons, but still fly and breath fire but have no magical abilities
Trigon
A dragon with three heads. Each head deals a different elemental attack based on fire, ice and lightning.
Whelp
A small baby dragon, usually playful but also capable of accidentally burning down entire villages.
Wyvern
A legendary creature with a dragon’s head and wings, a reptilian body, two legs, and a tail.
Race Compendium – Undead
These are the undead and spectral races of the realm.
Corporeal Undead
These are monsters that have cheated death in a way. Corporeal beings have a physical body.
Ghoul
A basic and slow monster that will attack his or her enemies by ripping off their own arms and using it a club.
Skeleton
A very malnourished soldier seen on the battlefield commanded by Necromancers
Vampire
A powerful fanged race that can change into a bat, feeds on blood and any other life essence.
Werewolf
A race that can turn into a wolf at night. There are known to be other were-creatures in existence such as Werebears and Weretigers.
Zombie

Spectral Undead
These are monsters that have cheated death in a way. Spectral beings have no physical body and just have a spiritual presence..
Banshee
A type of ghost that can scream loudly, cursing anyone that hears it. Usually female, but some male variants exist.
Ghost
A basic ghost, some are partially or fully invisible. They can cause fear to opponents and can cause objects to move or be thrown in the air.
Revenant
A holy and light ghost, most often formed from deceased priests and clerics with unfinished business.
Spectre
An apparition with no pyshical means to attack. They usually provide helpful visions or cause irritating distractions.
Wraith
These evil and intelligent beings can possess weak willed individuals.
Light
These races are connected with light or the divines.
Angel
A winged race and the personification of good.
Deity
An omnipotent being with godly powers.
Phoenix
A bird made of fire. Resurrects itself if it dies.
Unicorn
An extremely wild and rare woodland horse-like creature with a horn. This horn is said to be able to heal any ailment.
Wisp
A floating ball of light. Sometimes given the full title “Will o’ the Wisp”
Dark
These races are connected with darkness or evil.
Daemon
A demonic entity dedicated on performing acts of evilness
Lich
A strong necromancer that has killed and brought back to life by powerful magics.
Mind Slayer
A lovecraftian squid-faced race that eats brains
Oni
A trickster demon dedicated on causing mischief and mayhem.
Shade
These mysterious shadows are good at hiding and can only be seen from the corner of your eye.
