Shiru8Bit is the music project of Shiru — an electronic music enthusiast, chiptune composer, and software developer who creates low-tech, retro-flavoured game music using old computers, consumer electronics, and low-end synthesizers. With a library of 37 free tracks, Shiru8Bit delivers some of the most authentic chiptune and 8-bit music available online, all released under a Creative Commons CC-BY licence.

About the Artist

Shiru has been crafting chiptune and video-game-inspired music for years, earning recognition in the retro and indie game communities for a sound that feels genuinely rooted in the hardware era rather than just imitating it.
