Pridgarm the Dog Soldier

Biography – Pridgarm

Pridgarm is one of the best ranged weapons experts and natural survivalists to have ever joined the Companions, armed with a wide range of firearms and army vehicles.

Originally living as a social outcast in the wilderness, Pridgarm was an emotionless soldier for hire, with exceptional tracking abilities and severe paranoia to society, authorities and spellcasters in general. That all changed when one day, while concealed in a bush and aiming the sniper rifle at a potential target, Pridgarm soon discovered that all the guns and army vehicles were able to talk and they each had the voice and mentality of a small child learning about the world for the first time.

This became problematic for the soldier for hire, as the weapons would straight out refuse to shoot anyone (as hurting others was bad), would constantly ask questions about everything around them, start singing randomly when in a stealth mission or constantly bicker with each other. Of course, this frustrated Pridgarm greatly.

Unknown of how this ability was acquired, whether it was from a curse by a disgruntled spellcaster or too many blows to the head in battle that enabled this previously dormant innate ability, Pridgarm travelled around the realm seeking answers and a way to stop the voices, but never actually found anything worthwhile. This caused Pridgarm to eventually accept the circumstances and become the official protector and ‘parental guardian’ to the weapons.

As a result from being inspired by the kindness and innocence of the arsenal, Pridgarm created the Adventure Board to display available quests and offer advice to adventurers from around the realm.

This was a massive success.
